Meet Our Directors

Josh and Jill Cohen have spent nearly every summer of their lives at camp – starting as young campers, then counselors, and progressing through the ranks to full-time camp directors. Between them, they have held just about every key position at camp. are active in the American Camping Association (ACA), the SCOPE Foundation, and they speak at many camping conferences. Jill is originally from St. Louis, graduated from the University of Michigan, and went to work in the fashion industry before coming back to the camping world. Jill spent her summers as a camper and counselor at Birch Trail Camp for Girls before entering the “real world”.  Josh is originally from New Jersey and attended Arizona State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Education degree. Before coming to Camp Cobbossee, Josh was Associate Director and Jill was Director of Operations at Camp Mac-Kee-Nac.  Josh and Jill, together with their son Jeffrey and dog Beacon, live in the Palm Beach area.
