 Summer Camp Trips Camp Cobbossee offers campers an extensive array of trips out of camp.
An overnight camping trip to our own private campsite,"Spirit Island", (just 250 yards from the sandy beach of our waterfront) is the perfect introduction to camping for our younger boys. 1 to 3 day Hiking Trips to some of Maine and New Hampshire's scenic national parks and peaks including Mt. Katahdin, Mt. Tumbledown, Old Spec, Mt. Blue and Mt. Cadillac. Overnight Canoeing Trips down the Scao River and white water rafting trips on the Penobscot and Kennebec Rivers. Overnight Trips devoted primarily to technical climbing and bouldering in state and national parks. Weekly Trip Days Trips are a highlight of each week and we take advantage of some of New England's top attractions. The Maine Wildlife Park, Old orchard Beach, Water Parks, Amusement Parks and trips to see the Boston red Sox or the Portland Sea Dogs are all popular destinations for a trip out of camp. 3 to 4 day Trips to Acadia National Park, Boston/Cape Cod and Montreal for our oldest campers.
